EXPERIENCED PHOTOGRAPHER CAPTURES WEDDINGS THROUGH NATURAL & HUMOROUS LENS
With a love of documentary photography that touches everything I do, I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings throughout New England since 1994. I approach my work with respect for the subject, gentle humor and letting events play out naturally in time. I began photography at 13 years old, growing up in South Dakota. After studying photojournalism at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, I have been a part of the Valley News in Lebanon, N.H., since 1989. I am now the photo editor in a newsroom full of talented and funny journalists. I have done photography for a dozen books, including The Joy of Keeping Chickens and Harvest: A Year in the Life of an Organic Farm. My photographs have also been exhibited throughout Vermont, including a one-person show at the Agency of Agriculture in Montpelier, Vermont.
