Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can couples find reviews of United Kingdom wedding photographers?
A: We call them Client Letters. At the WPJA, we decided more than 20 years ago to avoid incorporating those third-person testimonials and endorsements that are found all too often in advertisements. Instead, we elevated our listings with the use of Client Letters, which represent the actual words and feelings of the clients who booked those United Kingdom wedding photographers for their own wedding.
Q: How can couples find top-ranked United Kingdom wedding photographers?
A: The WPJA created the original wedding photographer ranking systems. Our innovative system is based on contest winning points, meaning that the United Kingdom photographers you see at the top of your search results page have recently won the most — and the most recent — contest awards. Our contests judge photographers based on their creativity, style, composure, and ability to capture the heart of any couple's story on their wedding day.
Q: Who are the best United Kingdom wedding photographers for small elopements?
A: The WPJA is proud to have some of the top United Kingdom documentary wedding photographers for elopements. Our members are able to submit WedElope Stories that take you step-by-step, via a 9 image picture story, through the unique and moving elopements that take place around the world.

Dear Ronnie, we just finished reading all the photos. They are awesome and bring back all the memories. To be honest, I have had many hiccups organizing this wedding but I am so blessed having to know you. Bonsoir Matt, Erm….where do we start?! Firstly, we are in awe of your job; being a wedding photographer doesn’t last just the wedding day but when the party is over, the rest of your work continues and we hold so much admiration for what you do for not just us but all of your other couples. We literally do not have the words to describe how we feel about these photos; they are everything and more. I feel like I am in a fairytale looking through your photos; they are magical, captivating and all round perfect. They are everything we could ever dream of to remember our day and the most precious souvenirs of the best day of our lives. You have captured moments we didn’t even remember in the thrill of the day and these have created even more valuable and precious memories with our family, friends and, of course, you. Through looking through our photos you aren’t only our wedding photographer but you were there with us to lend a helping hand, a guest, a friend (and a bouncer) and for that we feel so lucky. The raw emotion, love, smiles, laughter and fun that you have captured are next to none. The colours of the photos, the variety with black and white, the framing, just everything is magical. And don’t get us started on the highlights slideshow that you created... We cannot wait to share these with our family and friends; I think my new favourite question is going to be: “Would you like to see our wedding photos?!” We cannot wait to download, favourite, print, share and talk about these photos forever with these memories which you have created for us eternally. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And because three thank yous aren't enough in one language, here’s some more: Merci beaucoup, merci beaucoup, merci beaucoup. We are forever grateful for you; you are incredible. All our love and bisous, Caroline & Mathieu xx
