Alessandro Banchelli is a Mexico Elopement and Destination Wedding Photographer in Playa del Carmen

Hi, I'm an Italian destination wedding photographer born in Florence and located since 2007 in Playa del Carmen. I am a Philosophy graduate and I discovered the art of photography many years ago, I remember the first contact with the photography…… I was visiting Florence and I met in the city downtown the Exhibition of Herbert List (German Photographer) and I fell in love with the “Click” that stop the time. Eureka!!!!! I understood what will be my job and passion. I’m a lucky guy to have the opportunity to do my passion and I can call it a job. I’m very happy about that, I spent a lot of energy to be a professional destination and elopement wedding photographer and now I’m living my dream. I have the privilege to live in Paradise and to capture with my camera the most important day in the lives of people. I’m so grateful to the universe to give me this gift. I’m a storyteller and my goal is to fix forever in the images emotions, feelings and moments. I feel like a writer where every story is a chapter of a universal book called love. Adrian Bonet is a Wedding Photographer for Quintana Roo, Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen

I was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1980. I started working as a photographer in 2006 when I founded in my hometown a company dedicated to advertising photography. At that time, I was especially focused on portrait and fashion photography and I worked for big companies and well-known advertising agencies. Over time, I became interested in wedding photography until I decided finally to devote myself completely to it. In 2008, I started doing wedding photo shoots out of my city, and gradually my work as wedding photographer became more and more internationally known. In 2013, I decided to move to Mexico in order to shoot the weddings I had always dreamed of. I toured Mexico from north to south doing many photo shoots. I worked in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Campeche, Merida, Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, among many other places. On a personal level, I have also visited different continents around the world. I know America, Europe, Africa and some of Asia. I love music, movies, art and literature. I am passionate about photography—the act of capturing the beauty of a moment and freezing it in time. Today I live in Playa del Carmen and I am dedicated to shooting destination weddings for couples from all over the world. [Playa del Carmen Wedding Photographer]

Melissa Mercado shoots destination weddings in Playa del Carmen Mexico

A "Playense" from California, I am a global lover of images and beautiful places. I love love, people and the quirky side of life. I believe in bringing emotion to life through images and having an absolutely awesome time in the process! Be forewarned... my laugh is contagious! I have more than 15 years experience shooting, nearly 5 running an award winning studio and 2 shooting weddings full time as a solo artist. With 10 years invested in a formal photography education... I realized the only thing that really matters is having fun and making beautiful memories along the way. My style is campy, silly, and full of color, love and laughter - even in the sweet teary moments. I learned from some masters in the industry that the moments are what we capture when we paint with light. My film and digital approach couldn't agree more! My grandmother, a photographer herself, planted the seeds years ago for what would become my life's passion. And having exhibited from little Cafe Walls, galleries in Denver and San Francisco, to the walls of families from all over the world - there is nothing more exciting than moving someone with a moment. Currently, I call Mexico's Playa del Carmen home. You call it paradise. I think we're both right - let's go adventure it together - I've got the camera, you bring the sass. I was born and raised in France, after my studies in marketing and a few small jobs I decided to dedicate myself to capture the best moments of families in the Riviera Maya Mexico. I believe photography should always try to capture emotions first, I strive to create candid images that tell the story of your day! I think that before being a good photographer I am a good human being. That for me is the key to be able to take great images. [Playa del Carmen Wedding Photographer]

Oftentimes when people are considering a venue for their weddings, they search for a location away from home, whether that be ten minutes or ten hours, all just to find what they already have: a place that holds meaning for them, that feels comfortable, or that they find special and memorable. But what could hold more memory, meaning, and importance than your own home? For those looking for that perfect venue, it may not be any further than beyond your threshold.Read more

Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more

Everyone always says that your wedding day is all about you. But let’s face it; that’s not always actually the case. Many couples stress over guest lists, planning, expenses, and all the frills and traditions of your standard large wedding that they may or may not even be interested in. Fortunately, though, the concept of small weddings is becoming increasingly popular for couples who either want to be able to completely customize their day where and when they want with the option...Read more

Some couples, as they begin planning for their weddings, might think that they are limited to the classic locations: churches, gardens, beaches, or even Las Vegas. But in doing so they’re missing out on a multitude of unique options that might suit their personalities much better! Why limit yourself to a quiet, quaint ceremony when your adventurous heart may be calling out for something more? An entirely different genre of wedding, so to speak, is the adventure wedding elopement. This concept...Read more
Not everyone has a lagoon or glacier next door, but there's no rule saying you can't have a small wedding in the great outdoors. Take advantage of natural sunshine and that open, airy feeling and give your guests some room to breathe! LESS IS MORE Instead of hemming your guests in on all sides, give them some elbow room, and legroom, too. There's no need to induce claustrophobia when you've got a wide, open space. Let your guests take in the view, especially if you've got a spectacular one. You...Read more

We all know that the economy can go through some hard times, and be somewhat reminiscent of past recessions. However, as people cut back on non-essential little luxuries here and there, one constant remains: weddings. People don’t tend to just stop getting married due to a poor economy, nor should they! So, in an industry that keeps on going through thick and thin, what are some things to expect for the future, and what is really necessary to still make that wedding day memorable and...Read more
