CAPTURING UNIQUE WEDDING MOMENTS WITH AUTHENTICITY

About a dozen years ago, but not yet a quarter of a century, chance allowed me to cover an intimate wedding. A complete novice at the time, I quickly took pleasure in sneaking in, dodging, but also accompanying and reassuring, and above all capturing unique moments. It became an obvious choice for me.  

I took my first steps as a photographer in the Oise region. Then nostalgia and the lack of sea spray brought me back to my native land.

12 years have gone by, over 200 weddings, and each time I enjoy it just as much. A wedding is fun, a celebration, a moment of conviviality that I never tire of. For me, photographing these moments is a real opportunity, a chance to take part in moments that are full of emotion, sometimes comical, smiles and joy... We have to admit, though, that there are probably more unpleasant situations, even if you sometimes need to be in good physical condition, knowing that this job isn't limited to taking photos (I've even been known to ring church bells).

And then there are the portraits, those more intimate but equally intense moments in life. Discovering people and their stories, whether for individual, family, or business photos, is as much fun as it is demanding. These are moments when the photographer needs to know how to adapt and make himself available to the expectations and needs of customers, to put them at ease and bring out their whole personality in just a few shots.

My approach is that of reportage: to be discreet when necessary, present, and very close for the crucial moments of your day. I'll be there to capture emotions, moments of life, important moments. The reportage will revolve around you and your guests, but there will be very few posed moments (apart from group or couple photos, for which I'll help you to feel at ease), to emphasize spontaneity and authenticity.
