For more than 150 years, Sts. Peter and Paul church, schoolhouse, convent, and rectory, stood at the corner of Burgundy and Mandeville street in the heart of the Marigny. A top-notch venue for wedding photography rich with history.
"After decades of rest, the great hall of Sts. Peter & Paul has been lovingly restored with careful attention. Built in 1861, every pane of stained glass is infused with history and every brick with stories of days past.
The reverberant and resonant hall is located squarely in the Faubourg Marigny, the city’s eclectic hub for art, cuisine, and entertainment and only a short walk from the French Quarter. The church has served as a haven and gathering place for over for a century and a half, and now, we open her doors to you and yours."
