Jaime Viera

Jaime Viera is an international, award-winning wedding photographer based in Sonoma, California. Jaime discovered a love for photography while pursuing her passion for traveling the world. On each trip she returned with an impressive collection of images - capturing the spirit of the world, it's people, and their cultures. Jaime earned a degree in Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of Otago in New Zealand to satisfy her thirst for knowledge of nature, life and how things work. Jaime's science background and her deep humanity is now manifest through the images she captures. By taking a step back to watch how the world works, she carefully composes life's subtle details to tell a complete story in a single image. Jaime, Dennis and their son, Alex travel all over the world photographing people making life commitments to each other, and in the process their relationship with each other becomes stronger. When she's got some down-time, Jaime is likely to be spending it with her family. In 2013, the family bought a three-acre property 45 minutes north of San Francisco and in that time have converted it into a family farm with alpacas, sheep, chickens, bees, a 2000 square foot garden, and 100 grapevines. Jaime loves reading historical fiction, eating dangerously spicy cuisine, growing her own food, hiking with her friends, sipping red wine, and asking lots of questions.
