Documentary Wedding Photography
Passionate photographer with international photojournalism experience
Valerie Rosen's shooting style is rooted in her early passion for street photography & social documentary photography while living and working in Asia, and Central America. She has travelled extensively within 35 countries and counting, and finds great joy in exploring different cultures and connecting with locals. Val has had an affinity for photography and all areas of the fine arts since childhood.
Before transitioning to professional photography, Val was dedicated to a career in academics and created digital photography elective classes at the secondary level in an international school in Guatemala City. Since 2016, Val's fascination with the human experience as a narrative has continued to drive her approach toward documenting weddings, and she finds great satisfaction in creating photojournalistic images that capture the moments that feel most personal to her subjects, and evoke a sense of nostalgia.
Val is an adventurous creative spirit who is based in Montreal, Canada, and is happy to travel anywhere.
