It all started off with the mesmerizing arts and the people culture of streets and cities. In college, Emily picked up the camera and journeyed into the world of street and cultural photography. Even today in her spare time, Emily would take trips around the world, take the local buses, and walk through narrow streets to capture the colorful elements of the city streets. This interest built her affinity for a photojournalistic style, which comes into play in photographing weddings in her years as a wedding photographer. Emily has been photographing weddings and engagements since 2007 and she co-started 1314 STUDIO in 2010. She serves the Houston area and her works have been featured in wedding guides & bridal blogs nationwide.
