I love to see people happy! And I always feel honoured to photograph beautiful moments that capture amazing emotions of the day. I am fortunate to have a very good eye, combined with a genuine love of people. This is why I put my heart and soul into photographing weddings.
Since 2021 I have been second shooting with Ian Bursill and my love of seeing people happy shines from the frames I take of beautifully observed moments.
Photography has been one of my passions for many years, and the call to photograph weddings grew louder when I first saw Ian’s award-winning portfolio of wedding photography. My career has included organising and marketing fashion shows and working as a stylist where great photography was always essential. This experience is very useful now to help couples and guests to feel at ease, while working with venues to help the day flow naturally and smoothly.
I am inspired by Philippe Halsman for his extraordinary life story of surviving persecution, his work with Dali and for his iconic portrait of Marilyn Monroe which for me portrays her true essence. Halsman had a way of capturing candid emotion - through his use of jump photography “jumpology” . He said that when someone’s attention is focused on jumping, their true personality appears. His portrait of Marilyn was on my wall at university and whenever I think of it, I can feel Marilyn’s carefree spirit.

From the moment we met you, we could tell that you had a special eye for detail and a genuine enthusiasm for documenting the day. The photos you both captured of our special day were absolutely breath-taking. You were incredibly creative with your work and the way you captured the small moments of the day. Every moment was documented perfectly, from getting ready in the morning to the moment we said our vows. The photos were truly a reflection of the day and all the joy and love that was shared. When they were presented to us after the day, we were blown away, as we were able to see the story of the day and all our emotions came running back to us!
