PHOTOGRAPHER LOVES CAPTURING LIFE, CREATING TIMELESS IMAGES

Niaz Maleknia is an Iranian Award Winning Documentary, People & Lifestyle Photographer currently based in London. She is interested in documenting the more 'taboo' subjects in society. Her most recent project documented love dolls, this was exhibited both within the UK and internationally. Niaz recently completed her MA at the London College of Communication in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography with Distinction. She teaches on the BA Documentary Photography and Photojournalism course at LCC, University of the Arts London.

Niaz is one of the winners selected by the Duchess of Cambridge for Hold Still. Her winning portrait is part of the National Portrait Gallery collection, which has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. She has had work published in the New York Times and been commissioned to work in America.

She describes herself as a Documentary photographer who shoots weddings and can create a visual narrative.
