PHOTOJOURNALIST WITH 20YRS EXPERIENCE CAPTURES WEDDING MOMENTS
1st in the UK, WPJA 2018 and 2012 Contests. I've been a photojournalist since 1996, working for The Times newspaper in London since 1998, travelling the world covering conflicts, disasters, Royalty and celebrities. For almost twenty years I've been conveying a story in a single image, or telling a more complex story in a photo essay. I studied physics at Cardiff University whilst working on the award-winning student newspaper, then completed a photojournalism postgraduate diploma at Cardiff School of Journalism. I live in Hertfordshire about 30 miles North of London with my wife Helen and our two beautiful children.

My husband and I really wanted a relaxed style of photography and were impressed by the work you'd done previously. As a photojournalist, your mission was to capture the spirit of the day, so that we could relive the moments in the years to come and you did that beautifully. Everyone has remarked on how amazing the photographs are - not just in terms of the moments that you captured, but also your genuine skill as a photographer and we couldn't be more pleased. The other comment I hear all the time is the fact that nobody noticed you taking pictures. It was all very unobtrusive so everyone relaxed. As a person, we couldn't have asked for someone more warm and friendly - My children loved you and one is quite shy so this is a major achievement.
