As a teenager I enjoyed creating memories in a different, natural and original way. My dream and my hope was to become one of the best wedding photographers in the world. I still did not know how to get it, but I was very clear that I did not want to be a photographer of the bunch. I enjoy photographing people, telling their stories and getting the best out of them. This is where I can further promote the documentary side of this profession. I'm based in Spain and shoot weddings around the whole world. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
I introduce myself as a great enthusiast of my work. I love wedding photography and I have dedicated myself to it for more than 15 years. My parents were photographers and I learned a lot from them. I consider myself a true lucky person, to be able to dedicate myself to what I like the most, which is to capture all those brief moments. that happen on the day of the wedding, and make them eternal [Murcia Wedding Photographer]
I studied Audiovisual Communication at University, hoping to become a film director…but ended up working as a TV news cameraman. I really enjoyed being in the eye of the storm, capturing pictures for the news that people would later see in their houses. Working as a TV news cameraman means that you need to anticipate, to make technical decisions quickly. You have to know when the decisive moment is going to happen, and get to the right place at the right time: that’s the perfect training to be a wedding photographer! I started my career as a photographer in 2011, and somehow I applied my direct, non-invasive TV news style to my wedding photography. I would say that my style is documentary photography spiced with a bit of creativity I'm father of two wonderful kids. When I’m not photographing, I love to build Lego constructions and film stop motion short videos with them. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
I have always been passionate about cinema and since I was a child I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to audiovisual art. Hanging from a camera wherever I went, I decided that I wanted to dedicate myself professionally to my passion. I enrolled in Audiovisual Communication to acquire knowledge and become a specialist in different languages: photography, film, videos, multimedia, television, and radio. During the last years of my career, I launched into the world of work and started working on films as a "decoration meritorious". It was an interesting job because of my passion for cinema, but the decoration was not my thing, so I started to alternate different jobs as an editor and camera assistant. In 2004 I graduated and at the time I had the possibility, I took a camera and started recording and working as a camera operator. It was what I really liked and where I was going to put all my effort. [Valencia Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Pedro, a Wedding Photographer. My style has been sculpted through books, movies and the vision of works by other great documentary artists, as well as masters of painting. My interest in photography comes since I was a child, but professionally I have been dedicated to it for two years, other interests in addition to wedding photography are social photography and portrait. I think this job is the best in the world because I get the privilege to capture the most important moments in someone's life. I am completely passionate about what I do. I love this job, the people, places, and the magical moment people shares with me. [Jaen Wedding Photographer]
My name is Tino, I am the father of two small children of four years old and six months, and I'm married to the most wonderful woman in the world. They are my world, but also have the chance to work on what really excites me. I love being able to witness the happiest moments of people, and that's why I chose to devote my life to this work. I am a senior technician in image and in Art Photography I'm constantly training to offer the best to my partners. My job is to freeze your best moments may be able to always remember them as they were and for that I get involved as possible with you, your history and your circumstances and, of course, I'm to help you in whatever you need. [Seville Wedding Photographer]
Carlos Rodríguez is, mainly, a photographer in love with his profession. Self-taught, from a very young age, he became interested in social photography and more specifically now focused on wedding photojournalism. Based in Madrid, he offers his services throughout the Spanish territory and travels anywhere in the world. Its classic and daring style can make your wedding a beautiful sequence of simple, natural images ... while still surprising and attractive. [Madrid Wedding Photographer]
I love art since I was a child, I am a violinist and also a photographer, I am passionate about wedding photography, I believe in love, in spontaneous emotions, and I love taking photos that capture unique moments. I consider that photography is my perfect way to express who I am and what I come to give, leave a little of my soul in each image. Always immensely grateful to the universe for putting the right people in my way. [Jaen Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I'm Andrzej A polish guy living in Barcelona since 2008, the year when my first son Alan was born. Being a dad totally changed the way I see the world, life and time, which since then, passes by quicker and quicker. It made me understand how precious are single moments in our life...and I've decided to become the best I can in capturing those special moments. I specialize in photographing destination and elopement weddings in Barcelona and documentary family photography but whatever is important for you, I would love to be there with my camera. I like to work with people who, like me, think that “there is nothing more beautiful than reality”. [Barcelona Wedding Photographer]
Fille graduated as a pharmacist in 2010 but soon felt this profession was not his true calling. During his studies, he got fascinated by photography. Two years after his graduation he started taking his hobby to a new level by photographing parties and events he would normally attend as a guest. Especially attracted by beautiful light and human emotions he started photographing big festivals and parties around the globe. After 3 years of combining these 2 jobs, he gradually got drawn into weddings and kept evolving ever since. Today he has shot about 140 weddings in about 7 years time. And he usually shoots about 23 weddings per year nowadays. He has always been inspired by numerous different photographers, which influences his work in a very diverse way. Alex Webb has inspired him to explore the world of layering. Fille's own background as a festival photographer has brought him a very dynamic style of shooting, focussed on human emotion, light, and colors. Fille is also a keen travel photographer and loves to combine this with his job as a wedding photographer. [Antwerpen Wedding Photographer]
Documentary wedding photographer, currently based in Wolverhampton where I live with my wife and 3 children, but I photograph weddings and elopements all over the UK and abroad. My photography style is pure documentary (also referred to as candid, natural, or reportage wedding photography) with no direction/interference as I firmly believe that your wedding day belongs to you and your family and the photographer should not interfere with it. I will never ask anyone to stop, smile, and look at the camera. Documenting weddings from different cultures - including Sikh Weddings, Muslim wedding ceremonies, Hindu weddings, and traditional European church wedding is something that I really enjoy. I am Polish/Canadian with over 25 years of experience, including reportage work for newspapers in Canada and Poland. Covered destination weddings and events in Canada, Poland, France, Spain Italy, and the UK. [Wolverhampton Wedding Photographer]
Born in France, grown between Portugal and Switzerland. As a kid I wanted to become an architect and as an architecture student I wanted to work somewhere in between architecture and photography. Near the end of the course I bought my first dSLR, and as a photo-amateur started shooting in the streets. I worked some time as an architect, then as an architectural photographer and later, by accident, I made my first wedding reportage. A year later I decided to give more attention to that empathy I felt with this area and, together with Raquel, my life companion, initiated "menino conhece menina" (in English it means BOY MEETS GIRL), a project over which we would shoot others boys and girls that love each other. Since then this work and this profession has been increasingly contagious and today we dedicate ourselves in full time to observe the happy lives that seek for our photos. As a wedding photographer I found my expression in the emotions of the people I photograph, looking for an approach emotionally genuine and documental. [Porto Wedding Photographer]
I'm French wedding photographer. I do it since 2012. I'm married and I have one daughter, they are the inspiration in my life and they push my limits to be a better person and a better photographer. If I do this job, it's to feel happiness and love...I love that. there's no best job than to be a wedding photographer [Lot-et-Garonne Wedding Photographer]
Always curious and creative. I was born in a small town near Rome and graduated in Oriental languages. I love to travel and good food. A wedding by chance in Malta, one in Sicily in 2011, let me and my husband/ partner in crime Adriano begin an adventure that leads us today to have about 80 weddings a year. People appreciate us the imagination and colors that we put in our photos. With many spouses, beyond the client/photographer relationship, we become friends, confidants, and psychologists, and the honor that touches us is to know people in their year of happiness, that of marriage. We love making them important, and this makes us important too. [Syracuse Wedding Photographer]
I have been documenting weddings for 15 years and have shot more than 600 weddings. My love for creating images has captured memories that will last a lifetime for many satisfied couples. On average I photograph around 25 weddings a year both in the UK and abroad. I have photographed weddings as far afield as America and Brazil. I started photographing weddings in 2004. My local market at that time had very few wedding photographers working in Devon, and so with little to no experience of photography, I embarked on a 1-year intensive training course. After this course, I set up my own business, but have continued with my training. I regularly attend workshops in America and have also been a speaker at many of these, educating today's up and coming photographers. I have have had the pleasure of photographing the weddings of James Corden, Joe Hart, and Darren Bent. Outside of photography I am a keen cyclist and have cycled to Amsterdam from London raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. I am a husband to Anita and father to Dillon and Max. [Devon Wedding Photographer]
After my personal experience as a bride, telling in pictures about this wonderful moment in the life of a couple who believes in love, mutual trust, and complicity has become my personal "mission". So I ventured into this difficult and complex world, but I immediately understood that wedding photography is an artistically vast, complete and always stimulating field. I admit that I love marriages so much because they bring out the best in people, they are rich with various emotions and the surprise is always around the corner. For this reason, above all, I love the authenticity of moments because magic happens just when you are simply yourself, together with the most important people in your life: real moments that come to life in a completely natural way. People who love me think that I'm cheerful, ironic, genuine and sincere. It's vital for me to spend my free time with the people I love, chat with friends about everything and anything until the most unlikely hours; I love the warm colours of nature in autumn and the summer light; my favourite colour is blue in all its shades. I am passionate about films and TV series that, in addition to entertaining and telling beautiful stories, can teach a lot about photography. Even if I don't have a favourite genre, I listen to a lot of music, a passion that is part of me since I can remember. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
My photography business began in 2012 with auction houses. My subjects are very often objects of art, my passion quickly brought me to the living. I then started my activity as a photographer in more varied fields. Today my main activity as a photographer is around wedding photography, corporate photography and private photoshoots (maternity photos, CV portraits, baptism photos, family portraits, couple photos ...). With mobile studio equipment, you can go to the place of your choice, a real studio photo session. As a wedding photographer, my deepest wish, but also my duty as a photographer, is to offer you images far from the traditional clichés of the wedding photo. My approach is above all the search for emotion and moments present while looking for a particular aesthetic to offer you at the end of this day, the best possible memory. I thank you for your interest in my work and remain at your disposal for any inquiries. [Versailles Wedding Photographer]
Welcome to Catching the Moments Photography. My name is Lukas. I describe my style in three words I would say natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. Candid moments, real emotions and reactions, tiny details you've planned for months, atmosphere, love, laughter and tears. I aim to record your wedding day as it happens, without posing or arranging anything, and most importantly without getting in your way. I believe every wedding is unique and should be treated that way. The thing is, the photos are about the day, not the other way around. Your wedding day, without directing or influencing the events. I won’t boss you around lining up for endless group shots. Instead, I will let you enjoy your wedding day with your friends and family. I won’t get in the way or tell you what to do. Instead, I will discreetly accompany you throughout the day. If that sounds like something you’re after, then you’ve come to the right place. COVERING WEDDINGS THROUGHOUT THE UK AND ABROAD Each year I shoot weddings all over Scotland and the rest of the UK, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, St Andrews, Aberdeen, the North of England and London, to name just a few. I'm also available for destination weddings. [Edinburgh Wedding Photographer]
As a documentary photographer of weddings, I create strong images that will tell your wedding in detail. As a documentary photographer for families with daily reports, I offer you images so that you always remember all these little things that made up your everyday life. Lifestyle photographer also for natural portraits. [Savoie Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Luanda, Africa, and I lived there until I was 10 years old, a time when I moved to Portugal. I've started my career working as a designer and web designer in an advertising company, but quickly I noticed that I was missing a very important part of my nature - to be connected to people and all the emotions related. I then studied the direction of photography and worked for a while in TV, fiction, advertising, as well as contributing as a freelancer photographer in different agencies. Since then, I've been connected and inspired by different people, places, and cultures, by a simple smile, a color, or just with mother nature in its state of the art. I work professionally in the wedding industry for more than 12 years, on behalf of Laranja Metade [Half Orange] brand, as a parallelism to those looking for their soul mate (the half part). In the past years more as Destination Wedding Photographer. I want to be true and honest when I document a wedding. To observe and write creatively all the feelings related to the key and unexpected moments, in a natural way. I will be honoured to embrace this journey with you. [Lisbon Wedding Photographer]
Talk about my biography & it seemed a little presumptuous to me, because often, reading the bio of the others, I remember a certain sense of inadequacy, because unlike many adults, I have never attended famous and expensive schools of photography, but I have learned through the years, trying and experimenting with everything, while I was attending university and working to win my longed-for journalist's card. Born in 1977, graduated in communication, I began to become familiar with the camera from an early age, using as a first tool a fantastic polaroid, a gift from the first communion. And from that moment I never stopped, studying the technique in the manuals that I passed on hand and practicing in the field, photographing anything that passed under my nose. In the following years then, I switched to the various analog reflexes and finally to the digital ones after 2005. Today I am a professional photojournalist, mainly dealing with Palio photography, reportage, wedding, and photography, collaborating with various local agencies and newspapers. [Siena Wedding Photographer]
My photographic journey starts a bit differently than usual, by not “owning a camera since I was young” but by a hobby, I used to have since I was little. The curiosity of observation. I always loved to observe people, their surroundings and fill my eyes with pictures and colors. And this simply because a thousand words, emotions, smells as well as music and melodies can fit into a photograph. The biggest part of my cinematic style was formed by my love for cinema. Last but not least music played a big part in me becoming a photographer. Believe it or not, photographs have music within them. Looking at a photograph that evokes emotion is the same as listening to a song that evokes an emotion and these can be combined into one/become one: a photograph that brings to mind a melody or a song. In conclusion, I found a way to transform all the songs that created pictures in my mind by capturing little but significant moments of life. I used to compose music, but when I stopped I had to find a way to bring out all these images in mind, and that’s how my journey into photography begins. [Athens Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I am Janina… the one behind the camera… you might want to know me a little bit before you invite me to photograph your big day! I am a proud Mummy of two amazing children Michael and Grace. Those two keep me very fit! I have been married to my best friend John since 2010. Family means everything to me and we love spending time together hiking, travelling and camping. I am a morning person and often I will get up at 5 am just to enjoy good coffee and early morning is the perfect time to do that. I love an outdoor lifestyle! Long walks and campfires are right up my street! I love animals, Freeman-our dog is a huge part of our family! I’ve grown up in a home where all forms of art were greatly appreciated. My Grandma still owns an art gallery. Photography has always been my hobby and passion! I speak Italian and Polish thanks to my family's bloodlines! I like pizza, cheese, gin, pizza, cheese, pizza (did I mention that I like pizza?) I also like holidays, driving, reading and obviously I love PHOTOGRAPHY! A good night out with friends is a must now and again! I love travelling and meeting new people. I also always find time to go to the theatre to see a good show. My music choices are all over place….from Nirvana, The Beatles and ACDC(thanks to my dad) to Little Mix Olly Murs and Rita Ora. Funny I know! Something weird about me – I don’t like chocolate! [Lancashire Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Scotland but have lived in England most of my life, and I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I trained and worked as a primary school teacher before working in FE and eventually made my way to where I am now, using my camera to pay the bills full time. I live in the North West of England with my wife Sally and our 3 children who are our pride and joy. Sally and I run the business together. Well, Sally runs it, I take the pictures. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients throughout the whole process and exceeding expectations. Sally also runs our sister company Smileomatic Photobooths which won the best wedding special touch (North West) at the 2018 Wedding Industry Awards. I’m passionate about making people happy through my photography. I’ve loved weddings ever since I started shooting them some 12 years ago because each and every wedding I shoot is unique. Not because of the flowers, the table decorations or the venues, but because of the people involved. The characters in a story that has yet to be written. Over the years I’ve come to realise that the images that are most important to people are those which can really rekindle feelings and emotions. And this applies to all photos, not just wedding photography. It’s my own experiences in life up to this point that makes me release the shutter when I do. And why what’s important to you, will also be important to me. [Lancashire Wedding Photographer]
My mission is to document the true emotions, sincere moments and beauty. As the wedding photographer I am always on the prowl after opportunities, through which I document spirit of wedding day. No matter what wedding you wish, I will catch the beauty of your special day and treasure it in photographs forever. I am Goran Vadlja Kamenjašević, born in Croatia. We moved to a mining town Velenje in Slovenia only few months after my birth. I was growing up in Velenje and this town devised me and it still fills me with creative ideas. I finished primary school and mining technical high school in Velenje. Afterwards I was working as the electrical assembler in some European and American cities for almost four years. Even in that time I got engaged in photography, that I was tying up with my travels and photographing of regions as at the beginning and much more in this time. I returned to Velenje in 2008 and got employed in Premogovnik Velenje, where I still work. I had several working accidents as a miner within eight years of my working there. When I was recovering at home after the group accident in 2014, I used the time for deliberation about further career. At that time I decided, that I wanted to make something creative in my life, in which I can express myself. I decided for the directional participation in photography with study on department for photography on VIST in Ljubljana. I am creating in different genres of photography. From personal, conceptual and street projects, to commercial and sport photography. In this moment I can find myself the most in wedding photography. Every wedding is a new challenge for me. I try to find something in every couple, which is tying them up , something that is creating only their story. I am positioning spontaneous moments, easiness and genuineness to top priority. I am true documentarian who will keep your memories in photographs and shape them in to photobooks, witch will be timeless evidence of love. [Velenje Wedding Photographer]
Photographer and mother of two beautiful children, Leonardo and Emily. I love people and through the lens I try to grasp the essence and uniqueness of each subject. I consider myself very privileged to be able to capture moments in people’s lives and freeze them to last in time. After attending a year's photographic course in London I decided to stay for another 7 years in England, working and experimenting with my camera. I now live in Italy in a small city called Varese where I was born near the beautiful Italian lake district. Since 2008 I have been part of a team of photographers and video makers who help me developing all the time. Even now I am searching and learning! [Varese Wedding Photographer]
When I was a child, my father, Francesco Armocida, used to bring me to his little dark-room in our home in Brooklyn, where I was born. He was working as an artist and re-toucher for a large advertising agency in New York at the time. He had the great fortune to meet photographers like Avedon and Kertesz, who would shoot and print their photos where he worked. The dark-room was like a rebirth for me. It was a magical feeling to see the images appear slowly. This was my fantastic introduction to photography. We soon moved to Calabria, Italy, where I now live with my wife and children. As a young university student I adored photographing the wonderful aspects of nature. I loved using selective focus and shallow depth of field to create magical atmospheres that reminded me of my father’s paintings. I soon developed a great interest in portrait photography and studied lighting techniques. I took portrait courses and followed many wedding photographers helping them during wedding shootings: then I found out that not only in wedding photography you have to be a good photographer but you really should also have a certain behaviour to achieve a certain kind of photography, the one I was and still seeking for today: capture moments with low photographer ‘interference’. I prefer the documentary style, the one that captures the real, emotional moment. Unlike ‘fixed’ pictures and concocted scenarios, I am aiming to capture genuine life-moments. It is an honour to be part of the WPJA. Not only is it a guideline for B&G, but it is also a tool to help photographers meet couples’ needs. [Reggio Calabria Wedding Photographer]
When I received a photography course from my great love, I didn't know how great that gift actually was. It taught me to look, I see with different eyes and my smile is wider than any camera can be. Being part of human lives, being allowed to watch love and comfort. It's like photographing from the air, it makes you float with pride. The love for photography started with that gift, then my interest expanded to the field of wedding photography with a traineeship at Eppel Photography. Making those special photos for you is what makes me excited! [Gelderland Wedding Photographer]
I was born in Trieste, where I have always lived apart from some time in various Italian cities, but worshiping the sea and the climate of our city, my heart has always brought me back here. And that's where I met Lisa, many years ago. Then one day I asked for her hand ... and since then we share everything, even cameras. I followed Lisa in this project of hers and I believed in her from the beginning, also because I was lucky to have a photographer dad who taught me to love photography in all its forms and made me realize how important it is. Precisely for this reason, I wanted to put body and soul, together with Lisa, in this work; for me it is great to meet new people, living with them the emotions during the wedding day and tell the story through the images. I am a great lover of technology, cinema, film, and TV series: I would spend whole days looking at them without interruption and I always find inspiration for work. In my free time, I love being in the company of our family, chatting with friends even late and spending nice evenings with them filling our bellies with good food, at home or in some restaurant. I love traveling, visiting new places, experimenting with new things and tasting typical foods of the place: work permitting I would be perpetually traveling; from America to Oceania, from South Africa to Iceland, my dream is to be able to visit at least a small piece of every continent. [Trieste Wedding Photographer]
Hi, I am Catherine, a Franco-British photographer, based in the French Pyrénées. Self-taught, passionate about photography for many years, I have specialised in lifestyle wedding photography. I value family, art, mountain hiking and capturing timeless moments. When I photograph weddings, my most sincere wish is to find the connections between you and the people around you and capture the unforgettable moments and the others more fleeting, some that you will have lived in person, others not ... so that you can relive them anywhere and at any time ... I have lived in many countries and photographed unique weddings, some from the same culture, others intercultural, different types of ceremonies, different environments and locations. Cultures are different, people are different - and there’s so much you can do for your wedding, so many possibilities! Let me photograph your wedding that reflects YOU and tell your own story. It is about your love - and it should speak of that love. It is about the obvious moments of the day but also about small details & subtle gestures. [Pyrenees-Orientales Wedding Photographer]
The more life experience I get, the more I realise the importance of being in the moment. Playing with my children rather than observing them over my laptop; Watching a movie with my wife and just enjoying her company, the easy silence, the film and forgetting the stream of social media updates; Taking the dog out for a walk and just enjoying the walk. As they say, "waking up to smell the roses". My approach to photography is a reflection of who I am: in the moment, spontaneous, observant. I look for shards of interest in the ordinary - maybe a touch of humour, a fleck of irony, a cool reflection. I do that because I'm mindful that I'm here right now and there's always something going on - right now! My other half and I have three children and a dog. I've shot weddings all over the British Isles and USA. I'd love to hear from couples who share my passion for photographic storytelling, who use Pinterest for ideas, not rules; and who place importance in images that reflect who they really are, not what trends tell them to be. [London Wedding Photographer]
Thanks for checking out my WPJA page, if you've landed here its because we share a genuine passion for photojournalistic wedding photography! I'm based in sunny Lytham St Annes I was blessed growing up by the seaside. I'm a father first to the little legend Chloe Lou and I guess you could say she's the one responsible for my photography. This little lady gave me such an appreciation for life, looking at it completely different and realising constantly that the moments that are always happening won't ever be repeated to embrace every one of them! With that, I decided I wanted to ensure I document as many of those moments and soon realised the value of it not just for myself but for everyone else I was photographing. Very quickly it became apparent people enjoyed what I did and the ball started rolling with me becoming a wedding photographer. I simply love light & moments and combining these to enable me to tell stories is a gift, one I'm so lucky to share with all my couples. With that said I make a promise to my couples before each and every wedding, that is to make sure they don't just recall how it looked but equally important if not more so, how it felt allowing them to relive that day over and over! A little insight: I'm a HUGE basketball fan, I love to travel (I've backpacked around the globe) and meeting new people fascinates me. Experiencing different cultures and their traditions is something I cherish. Thanks for stopping by, Cheers [Lancashire Wedding Photographer]
Chrystel is based in the South Western France. She is working mostly in this region, but there are no boundaries, so feel free to contact her. As a professional photographer, being subtle, natural and spontaneous are the key elements in order to capture all emotions such as laughs, tears, and other strong and memorable moments on your wedding day. As soon as the day starts, your photographer will be next to the bride and the groom from beginning to end. If it tickles your fancy, we will also organise family and friends portraits until the reception. Your couple pictures can be either taking on the day and/or another scheduled date. [Biarritz Wedding Photographer]
Paulo Castro began his photographic journey in 2003. It all began as a hobby. In "the National Park of Peneda-Gerês," where his first pictures were taken, he learned to watch the light and understand the photographic technique. He devoted himself to photography of nature and portrait, having stood out in “specialist” magazines and on online sites. Later, between 2005 and 2010, other work was done in other several areas, especially in extreme sports and reporting in nightclubs. In 2010, he conducts his own project, to a momentous register and of memory and also begins to dream of the possibility of becoming a full-time photographer. With the birth of my daughter, Inês Castro in 2013, my greatest dream had come true. Since then my daughter has been the source of my inspiration in my professional career. Every moment is captured naturally and through it, I tell a story of reality. The photograph is what remains to later be remembered. I photograph for passion!!! [Braga Wedding Photographer]
After majoring in advertising, I worked in various fields of art and communication back in my native Brazil. But it was only in wedding photojournalism that I´ve found real vocation and passion. In 2007 I was privileged to be the first Latin American photojournalist to be recognized by a prestigious WPJA. On the very day, I'm a discreet observer in search for the exact instant, applying the best technique, the right angle, the most favourable light, so that couples can hold on to the best moments of their big day. [Lisbon Wedding Photographer]
Coming from a creative family I started drawing at a very early age. Now I freeze unique moments with my camera instead of a pencil. What I love most as a wedding photographer, is to be able to capture all these emotions and moments during a wedding day. A smile, a kiss, a tear...all these little things makes me feel very privileged to be there and create all these images that will last forever. I love meeting all these new couples, there families and friends and the interactions between them. No wedding day is the same! [Antwerpen Wedding Photographer]
Photography isn’t my passion. People are. How they interact, how they feel and how they show Love. My camera is just my tool to capture their essence. I love portrait photography, but also food, lifestyle, and landscape photography. I'm most inspired by: · Beauty - I see it everywhere. · Impermanence - nothing exists for indefinitely long, that’s why I try to catch this kiss, that look, those smiles on photos, ‘forever’. · Truth. · Charm of imperfection - Yes, please! Self-driven every day, because Life is such a gift! I am living between Sardinia and Ibiza but grew up in a lovely Slovenia. If I have to choose between the sea or forest, I always go for the forest. I just came from Belgrade, where I was invited to have my solo exhibition on portraits - I completely recommend this city, it's awesome! [Sardinia Wedding Photographer]
Dennis Viera is half of the internationally recognized, award-winning wedding photojournalism team of Viera Photographics. Based in Portugal and Sonoma County, Dennis and his wife Jaime travel worldwide documenting weddings. Their business was born over 10 years ago on the remote South Island of New Zealand, precisely the same time they found out they were expecting their first child, Alex. For Dennis, the photographic journey began in his hometown of Newport, Rhode Island the summer before graduating from high school, when he was awarded a lost camera from a part-time job he'd been working. From there, the passion for documenting life continued to evolve. Rapidly. Dennis began working for his college newspaper while attending the University of San Diego, learned the basics from the photo editor, and soon became his assistant while also managing the ads department and keeping the paper funded. He learned the basics of photojournalism and also how to set up more structured editorial and fashion shoots while processing film and scanning prints. Upon graduation, Dennis chose to forego an easy route to financial security and instead got a job at a small but incredible San Diego camera shop and darkroom. A little over a year passed when he was plucked from behind the counter and hired to run a commercial photography studio while also handling the events side of the business; all the while, continuing to learn by experimentations with all different combinations of cameras, lenses, and formats. This was at a time when digital was revolutionizing commercial photography studios and over his four-year period as manager, he led the transition from an all-film to an all-digital studio. Photography is not and has never been a job for Dennis, it's a deeply rooted part of him. Dennis loves photographing people, life, landscapes, architecture...so, weddings provide him the opportunity to weave together everything he's ever learned or experienced to tell each client's story in a unique way. When Dennis isn't shooting for a client or himself, he can be found hanging out with his son Alex and his wife Jaime, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, buying records, listening to music, baking bread, making wine, traveling Europe and trying to be the best husband/dad/son/human being possible. Hi, I'm Steve of Ketch 22 photography. My style of photography is natural, relaxed, fun and creative documentary wedding photography. To me, weddings are about people. It's about capturing all those real and special emotions and moments that make your wedding totally unique. I have over 16 years of experience with hundreds of weddings under my belt. I'm based in Gloucestershire in the UK. I cover weddings right across the UK and destination weddings abroad. I'm also based in Andalusia in Spain, so if you intend to get married in that part of the World, do get in touch! If you like to see samples of my work feel free to check out my website and get in touch for more details about my services. [Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer]
I've been a wedding photographer for 16 years. I started out shooting weddings in Barcelona, Spain, where I lived and was artistically inspired for almost ten years. Now, back on home turf, I cover both UK and destination weddings. Aside from wedding photography, I provide artistic reportage coverage of business events, working for clients including Pfizer. I also do stock photography and have had work featured in hundreds of publications worldwide, from Time Magazine to The Telegraph. I've worked voluntarily for charities, such as The Cambodia Trust, and my work has been published in The Ephotozine Guide to Great Photography. Wedding photography is my passion, though. I adore being the eyes at your wedding, following emotions, and framing them artistically. My favourite subjects are moments, sometimes vibrant, other times subtle, but always very real. I've worked with many amazing people over the years, including Melanie Sykes. My other passion is my two children, Max and Romy. They provide me with amazing moments every day of the week. They grew tired of my camera very quickly, so I’ve had to learn the art of getting great photos without them noticing! If you like the way I work, please get in touch and we can chat about your plans. [East Sussex Wedding Photographer]
Liam's passion for photography was born in 1999 when he began his studies at university. He studied wildlife photography at Blackpool and the Fylde College in the UK and specialised in landscapes. His main influences back then were Ansel Adams, Charlie Waite, Joe Cornish, and Lee Frost. He began shooting weddings in 2002 and many of his landscape skills can be seen in his wedding work - he has a keen eye for awesome light and eye-catching compositions in both his wedding portraiture and documentary work. To date, Liam has shot over 500 weddings and currently documents 40 - 50 weddings a year in the UK and abroad. Liam runs the Crawleys with his wife, Bee. Whilst Liam works his magic in his unique style behind the camera, Bee puts the final touches to every image in the digital darkroom in her now legendary and well-respected style ... they don't call her the 'Wedding Queen' for nothing! And let's not forget Betty, adorable little Betty who mainly does cute baby things in the background :) [Cheshire Wedding Photographer]
I have loved photography since I was young. I have always loved the thought of any emotion being captured naturally, in it's purest form of expression. My passion is born from being a romantic at heart and shooting a wedding like I was shooting my own, without missing a moment. I lived half of my life in Honduras and the most recent half in the USA which is where I have mostly grown as a photographer for weddings, engagements, and elopements. [Knoxville Wedding Photographer]
Whilst photography is my passion – it is driven by my love of design. I started my career as a Graphic Designer before discovering my love of photography and now, as a professional photographer, I feel that my creative skills really have the chance to shine. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am addicted to gadgets and to tell you the truth…they’d be right! From mobile phones to tech gadgets to home automation… I love them all. For some reason I can’t stop adding things to my collection… the good thing about photography is that you are never too far away from a new gadget. For me, being a photographer is about capturing the people and events in your life that are important to you. I want to capture the fun, love, and atmosphere of your wedding, event, or portrait. One of the most important things you will notice about me is that I like to make people feel relaxed when I am with them… [London Wedding Photographer]
I am a Portuguese wedding photographer and I love to be attentive to details, light, colors, shapes ... I am passionate about life. I love nature, I love hiking and traveling. I look for balance in my yoga practice, and cinema is my main source of inspiration. It was fourteen years ago that I started photographing weddings and thus I discovered that my passion is to photograph people. I like to see them being themselves and to live happy moments with those they love. I'm an incurable romantic, I can't deny it… eh eh I want to make a difference on a day as special for you as your wedding. More than someone who is there to photograph, I want to be someone who accompanies you in one of the happiest moments of your life. And, of course, I want to immortalize these moments, so that they can be revised and remembered time and time again, and so that with them we can continue to be thrilled for life outside. [Leiria Wedding Photographer]
My name is Sasha and when I am not busy traveling the world and capturing the most precious moments in people’s lives, I am a full-time parent to Gosha (the pup on my back). My sole goal is to translate the precious moments my clients invite me to witness: naturally, effortlessly and full of love. When working, I try to be everywhere and nowhere all at once, so I can capture the tiniest details. I am continuously uplifted by the beauty of the world and draw my inspiration from magazines and films. [Moscow Wedding Photographer]
Julien started as a freelance wedding photographer in 2016. Very quickly, a documentary approach emerged and gave meaning to his work. Covering weddings as a photojournalist allowed him to develop a personal style. For him, this approach is the best way to document all the details of the day in an authentic and original way. He does not limit himself to an exchange of wedding rings or the first dance. It is the result of many moments, both significant and insignificant. Julien is passionate about real emotions, honest, and unique moments. It is also a special encounter that made him move to North America: after a few months of being in a relationship between Paris and Toronto, he decided to take the plunge. It all happened quite quickly, but sometimes, when you know it, you just have to do it! [Montreal Wedding Photographer]
I had my first photographic experiences with laptops, then with my first SLR ... and I just became addicted to photography, immortalizing everything around me. My photos are a reflection of my experience and of what I am ... sensitive, spontaneous, and a little offbeat! I first started photography by doing landscapes and animals, which allowed me to 2nd prize at the International Festival of Photostory of Saint Brieuc. I quickly got into wedding photography, first of all, covering weddings of friends and family, which was an eye-opener for me! I like to enrich myself with encounters, other cultures, and other horizons. Since 2016, I covered about fifty weddings, via Paris and Bretagne and I decided to devote myself entirely to my passion. [Dordogne Wedding Photographer]
My name is Maxime and I have been a wedding photographer since 2014. What makes me special? I am a human photographer. Because what I love above all in my job is meeting you, understanding your history, your favorites, and your desires. I have traveled a lot, observed fabulous monuments, photographed sumptuous landscapes ... but for me, nothing beats the warmth and richness of human encounters. We're all different. Our experience and our sensitivity make us unique. Immortalize the fragile moments, the stolen looks, the tender and discreet gestures that express what you are: this is what drives my work as a wedding photographer. [Hauts-de-Seine Wedding Photographer]
As far as I can remember, I think I have always observed and photographed people. I fell in love with the creative photojournalism style in 2016, when discovering the work of Victor Lax and later by having workshops with Sebastien Roignant, Franck Boutonnet, Victor and Erika Lax. I discovered that wedding photography could be something so extraordinary for couples. I discovered my type of photography. Since then, I have worked enormously and progressed to reach an international level. For me, being a photographer means progressing every day. Every year, I add something new to my services, like the "photo-clip" of your story for 2020. I am a real passionate who loves his brides and grooms and makes it a very strong condition before any collaboration. I've been covering weddings through the south of France and Paris since the end of 2016. I'm based in Toulouse, southwest of France and ready to travel anywhere, where love will need my artistic sense. [Toulouse Wedding Photographer]
Photography is an extension of who I am. Since a very young age, I’ve been capturing life on film and my passion has only grown since. Creativity is vital to me. Welcoming a unique perspective with every shoot, I put so much passion into everything I do. This is more than art to me, it’s a life. And I love every second of it. My absolute love for beauty, sentiment, and emotion is revealed in every photograph that I take. I love to embrace the simplicity of life, the most profound yet forgotten elements of our lives, and capture them so they can be remembered for years. My focus is on making the ordinary extraodinary. Because that’s exactly how life is, right? As much as I love photography, it’s not the focal point of my life. That space is reserved for my family. My entire world has been changed since marrying the love of my life and becoming a father. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for anything better. When I’m not behind a camera, I’m taking snapshots in my mind as I cherish every moment with my beautiful family. I never want to take a single laugh or tear for granted. Ever. Life is important to me. Really living life. And that’s why I love what I do. Working throughout Ireland, I am passionate about making wedding days special from the ambience to the timeless images you walk away with. When I stare through that lens it’s more than job. My focus is on relationships and emotions—something I am so intrigued by. With a fun, relaxed, artistic, and innovative approach, I’ve created a style that will truly highlight the most subtle and beautiful parts of your big day. From emotion and light to colour and overall vision, it’s my job to tell a story through my lens. And your romance is my story. [Dublin Wedding Photographer]
I cannot claim that I have been surrounded by cameras my whole life. I haven’t been taking photos from a young age. The truth is that while my dad loved taking pictures of me, it wasn’t something that I really picked up until I got married. My uncle was known as the photographer of the family and my father would tend to ask him for advice. I just never really understood the joy of taking a photo. I just thought a camera was another toy that my dad had! Following my wedding, this all changed. I found photography to be something that I could really explore my inner creativity. As I said in the video, watching people and their interactions is a little thing that I love doing to pass my time. So by combining the creativity and the joy of capturing moments led me to a career in Wedding Photography as an Asian Wedding Photographer. In 2011 our family was rocked by the sudden illness of my father. This was where photography really instilled in me the sense of capturing and recording a moment forever. The moments that my father and I had had together were forever imprinted in my mind and also on paper. This is not a sad story and my father fought and battled his way through the hard times. He and my mother are my inspirations for Wedding Photography. More recently, my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful, bouncy son. He and my wife are my rocks. The little person who keeps me grounded at all times. He is the person who can instantly melt me. And we have some of the most amazing photos of us together! When we meet, ask me to share these pictures with you, I will instantly turn into the proud father with LOTS of photos! In the last few years, I have been lucky enough to photograph a range of different Wedding Ceremonies. From colourful Indian Weddings, fun Sikh Weddings, beautiful Greek Weddings and intimate English Weddings. [Essex Wedding Photographer]
Always in love with photographs, I always walked with a camera with me to record moments and memories. In 2017 and after several years of photographing as a hobby, I was challenged to photograph weddings at a professional level. Since I started I tried to bring a different look and based on some important premises for me, be it GLAMOR, CREATIVITY, EMOTION, PASSION and HUMOR, or if I was not a fun person. A work based on a photojournalistic basis, trying to live the wedding as if it were a guest, in order to register the real emotion and experience of the day. I always want records that challenge me, that allow me to live the wedding as I like it, putting everything at least that it does, living up to the two mottos that it adopted [Coimbra Wedding Photographer]

You exceeded every expectation!! it goes without saying that our pictures were awesome but one thing that we really wanted was to not be pestered for pictures all day. You did a great job blending in and managed to take the stress out of everything. You were fantastic, giving direction where needed but not over the top. The photos capture the feeling of the day and we are glad we chose you! Bless you Manos!!
The photos have arrived! And of course, we absolutely love them!!! You've really captured the spirit of the day and all the moments that made it special. We can't stop looking at them - there's just so much to see in every photo, and the longer we look at them, the more there is to see! The composition of some of them is just genius. We had such a fun day, and I'm just delighted that we've got these photos to remember it by - we're so lucky we found you. The presentation box and USB key are also gorgeous, such a lovely touch. I can't even imagine how much work went into the photos, we've spent hours and hours just looking at them! So a MASSIVE thank you and AMAZING work. Cat

We live in London and recently got married in Portugal. I can't thank you enough Maria and Fabio for all of your help. Not only did you take the most amazing pictures of our special day, but you also were great in giving us lots of useful information to plan our wedding. We would highly recommend you to any couple looking to get married! Thanks Fabio and Maria!
Chrystel you're perfect. Living abroad, you immediately put us in confidence with a skype call where we talked about our wishes and your way of working. You was very professional from start to finish. We talked about the timing and the agenda together to be sure to anticipate every key moment to capture. During the day you were very discreet and always smiling. I really trusted you and didn't need to worry about you at all, I knew you would take whatever it took. The photos we received were all very beautiful and we are delighted ! You knew how to capture a mix of details, overview and intimate moments. I would highly recommend your services ! Thank you again!
Using you guys was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first conversation, we could tell you were friendly, easygoing people who just like to take great pictures and make your clients happy. You took the time getting to know us and our relationship so you could give us exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day you were flexible, fun, and extremely easy to work with; not that we ever had any doubts, but the pictures came out ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. We were thrilled with all the pictures...and happy to have two new friends. We love you and recommend you wholeheartedly!!!

Thanks for capturing us the atmosphere, the emotion and the special moments throughout the day.
