Embracing Authentic Moments and Artistic Journeys in Auvergne Weddings
From a young age, photography has always been present in my life. It was only after my father's death, during a period of deep introspection, that I discovered the camera could become a true therapy. My first steps led me to capture the majestic landscapes of Auvergne, before my focus naturally shifted to people during my very first wedding within my close circle of friends. A defining moment occurred when, during a wedding, the bride's sister hugged the groom and said, "now you are my brother.” This confirmed for me that photography was more than art: it was a calling. To refine my approach, I trained with Sébastien, dedicated to wedding photography, and discovered the world of reportage during a 72-hour workshop with Léa, Annie, and Marine. These experiences helped me forge a style that prioritizes authenticity and emotion, while nurturing a passion for black and white portraits. I also draw inspiration from observing the work of my peers on Instagram and immersing myself in the art found in museums. Since 2011, I've passionately covered about fifty weddings, choosing to do around fifteen a year to stay in perfect harmony with my clients. A highlight of my journey remains the wedding of Romain and Charlène, where, faced with the financial difficulties caused by their son Léo's rare illness, I wanted to show my humanitarian commitment by offering a significant discount while respecting the spirit of the initial quote. Additionally, I have been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years, an experience that taught me responsiveness and discipline in all situations. Passionate about sports, hiking, and deeply attached to the nature of my Auvergne, I also explore other artistic horizons: I've exhibited my landscape photography in a theater and recently acquired an Afghan Box to soon delve into street portraits. My clients describe me as simple, professional, and full of humor—qualities they say I exhibit naturally better than I could define myself. My goal is to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere, capturing authentic and unforgettable moments, making each wedding a unique and memorable adventure.
