Mirko Vegliò

My name is Mirko, I was born in Foligno where I live and work.

Since I was a child I started to love photography, especially landscapes. It was a way for me to see wonderful places and to bring into focus aspects of my days and life. After some time, landscapes were no longer enough. I felt the need to interact with my subjects, to go deeper into things, to discover and to unravel, through my shots, the most real and often hidden aspects of what I saw.

I started photographing people. I try to reveal their soul and personality. I love to portray especially young couples, families, children. I specialize mainly in photography for events and weddings: not only a profession but the desire to tell emotions and stories, to keep alive these unique and unrepeatable moments.

Photographing means writing with light. It means capturing details, immersing oneself in the emotions of others, sharing moments of life and transforming them into evocative and suggestive images. I like to empathize and share emotions, immerse myself in stories, walk part of the way with the people who choose to look at their lives through my shots. My discreet and constant presence offers a genuine, true, and intense account of the most beautiful day of your life.

My desire to tell stories through images stretches to the world of companies and businesses. With the creation of commercials and of promotional and institutional videos. These are fundamental tools that strengthen the brand and communicate the mission, vision, values, and flagship products of the company, to ensure an effective presence on different platforms, from television to social networks and internet sites.

I still love environment and landscape photography, in line with my great passion for nature, for uncontaminated landscapes, for walks in the quiet of the mountain. I think that a personal encounter is irreplaceable, to create synergies and mutual understanding.
