I am Debora Corvaia, I am 30 years old, in life I am the mother of Liam and Ohana, Co-founder and CEO at Couple Creative Photo, I have been working in the world of wedding photography for 10 years, creating creative reportages around Sicily and Italy.

Photography came into my life suddenly when, looking for my place in the world, I realized that stopping time to create memories had to be the work of my life. Through photography I discovered the deepest part of myself and I became the woman I am today. All the experiences I have had and every obstacle have helped me create a photographic identity that today I bring into all my work, which I define as a perfect mix of pure and reportage storytelling and introspection.

I did several studies before starting the profession, including the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, even if I define myself as self-taught by natural inclination, I love discovering what no one teaches you on the benches of an academy, enriching my cultural background by pushing myself beyond the ordinary.

Surely an important impact in my life was a meeting with the photographer Letizia Battaglia from Palermo, from her I drew the fundamental energies and the desire to do more and more to emerge in a purely male world where we women still struggle to assert ourselves. Every day I carry on my battles so that women are more considered and respected in the world of photography and in general in today's society.

I have been photographing weddings for 10 years and in these years in addition to having taken part in almost 1000 events in total traveling throughout Italy and the world.

Among my passions I can certainly say that I love traveling to discover the world together with my family and with them sharing new experiences and at the same time enriching myself by coming into contact with the cultures of other countries.
