Elopement Photographers for Small Munster Weddings
Shooting an elopement or small Limerick wedding event is a wedding photojournalist’s dream: a fairly open schedule with lots of breathing space for creativity – it’s just the photographer, the couple, the officiant, and perhaps a few select companions.
Members are ready to document any civil ceremony, quick, town hall, or elopement wedding, even if it is a Monday-Thursday ceremony. Search for the “Can Shoot Weddings on Short Notice!” message on the listings below.
We are anxious to create a picture story chronicling your non-traditional, outdoor, boutique, small wedding from beginning to end. In this sense, it is no different from any other event that we have covered. The emphasis is on documenting key moments, capturing spontaneous displays of emotion, telling your real love story, as well as creating artistic portraits and details.

My Real Name Is James | Unposed, Modern & Creative Documentary Wedding Photographer || Say Goodbye To Stuffy Old Posed Photos ||| Based In Limerick, Ireland & Covering Ireland, UK & Europe |||| -I will happily travel to photograph for you, in fact, the more adventurous the location, the more I’m up for it! -I recently moved from my home of 30+ years in Kent and now find myself in county Limerick, Ireland! -Normally people say they love things, but I’m going to say I just really like traveling, hiking, football, and photography. -Recently joined a band as the bassist. It’s just a bit of fun. We recently did an 80’s themed Gig, I went in a Miami Heat style suit. -I have a YouTube Channel! It’s me rambling on about landscape photography. Some may say it's award-winning, most (ok everyone) will say it's unwatchable. [Limerick Wedding Photographer]

I've been taking photos since I've been a kid and my first real accolade came from my secondary school's annual photography competition for a photo of my pet dog (Dougal). That was on an old Pentax film camera and I've since moved onto digital cameras and shot my first wedding in 2015 with my wife, Annie (also a WPJA member and documentary wedding photographer) and now, over 100 weddings later, I've found my niche in wedding photojournalism. The challenge of capturing the emotion and individuality of the day, without interfering in the flow, makes each wedding I shoot a completely different experience and I love it for that. I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in County Meath. I started shooting weddings 18 years ago and I absolutely love it. My work has taken me to some really amazing places over the years both in Ireland and abroad. I’ve picked up a bunch of awards along the way including two recent ones from the US-based Wedding Photojournalist Association. My aim when I shoot a wedding is to observe and capture the day as it naturally unfolds. I don’t direct anything. This allows everyone to relax and just enjoy the moment. I love to tell the story of the day, to capture the true atmosphere so that when you look back at my pictures you’ll not only remember how it looked but how it felt. A little about myself… I live just 20 km outside Dublin City in the countryside of County Meath with my wife Natalia and my 5-year-old son Zac. In my spare time, I love to mountain bike, snowboard, and ride my motorcycle. [County Meath Wedding Photographer]
