Giovanni Franco favors a photojournalism style at his Puerto Rico weddings

If you can use a word to describe Giovanni Franco’s style it will definitely be passionate. His love for art stems early from his childhood years that begun with his avid drawing skills. Graduating from the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico, he developed a keen eye for details and structure. He finds intrigue and is particularly drawn to anything that is different. Therefore, traveling to learn and record other countries’ cultural peculiarities through his lens allows him to tell a beautiful untold story. Through his lens, he doesn’t solely focus on the important moments, he goes after that unforgettable smile of pure joy, captures that gaze that conveys many emotions simply, that heart-stopping shot. This is why he favors photojournalism in weddings. He will work to capture what he was left longing for with his own wedding pictures: liveliness, action, spontaneity and crude beauty. Looking back on the most important day of his life, he wants his clients to have unforgettable pictures that will be leaving them reliving their wedding day each and every time they view them. His diverse portfolio includes, but it is not limited to: corporate galleries, wedding photojournalism, freelance Fine Art modeling and nature shots. For the latter, Giovanni Franco has an on-going, spectacular “Lightening Project” that has been developed throughout the years and strives to capture nature in its rawest beauty.
