Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I find a photographer for a short-notice, small China wedding?
A: There are many WPJA photographers who are able to help you out at a moment's notice. We understand that sometimes love happens and there's simply no time to lose. We can ensure that you can get married as quickly as possible — and have incredible photographs to remember your China wedding day by.
Q: How can couples find China photographers for pre-wedding engagement portraits?
A: The WPJA issues Diamond Awards for China wedding photographers to showcase their best engagement photography work. These awards are given to photographers who prove that they have an ability to be creative, artistic, and intuitive while working on-location with couples who are newly engaged.
Q: How can couples find top-ranked China wedding photographers?
A: The WPJA created the original wedding photographer ranking systems. Our innovative system is based on contest winning points, meaning that the China photographers you see at the top of your search results page have recently won the most — and the most recent — contest awards. Our contests judge photographers based on their creativity, style, composure, and ability to capture the heart of any couple's story on their wedding day.
WPJA Communiqué: Featured Wedding Photography Articles
Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more
It’s no secret that these are strange times we’re going through right now, and there are many couples out there with weddings set in the near future who are left feeling uncertain and concerned about their futures. While that’s understandable, it’s also important to remember the reason you’re getting married in the first place; not for the grand celebration, but because you love each other and want to be together. REMEMBER WHAT'S IMPORTANT You’re in this position now, about to get married, for...Read more

Everyone always says that your wedding day is all about you. But let’s face it; that’s not always actually the case. Many couples stress over guest lists, planning, expenses, and all the frills and traditions of your standard large wedding that they may or may not even be interested in. Fortunately, though, the concept of small weddings is becoming increasingly popular for couples who either want to be able to completely customize their day where and when they want with the option...Read more

RAVES, REVIEWS, AND China WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER RECOMMENDATIONS

Hao & Lizzy

It is really the most wise decision for my wedding to be a photographer.

Claire & Guillaume

Dear Jamie, we wanted to say thank you for your professionalism and your talent on our wedding day. Our wedding pictures are all we could hope for and much more. Our families and friends made great comments about the spontaneous, unposed style of your pictures. Even if our wedding was the center of the attention, all of our guests had some great portraits done by you. Before the big day, you reviewed the locations and asked us the right questions. On the day, you have been quite invisible, very flexible, accommodating and professional. We will definitely recommend you to any friends looking for a photographer and will use your services in the future for other family events! Again, thanks a lot for your work!.

Shan & Zoe

Thanks to the LEON WONG team, you are my first team, and the ps wedding is still undecided. Like the photos you take naturally, like a hidden invisible recorder, or the kind of lens is everywhere. We didn't take a wedding photo seriously, and there was no travel in the shed. It's because I don't like wedding dresses. It's very boring and unnatural. Most of them don't see the feelings of two people who love each other, even the face can't remember. For me, the best shape is all live broadcast on the wedding day. The best scene is to be close to friends and relatives. I and Shan are just like each other. This requires a very professional team. Because the live broadcast does not have NG. It’s not like a wedding photo, you can’t come back, miss it and miss it. It’s hard work for you all the time, and you’ve been keeping a high level of tension until the end. There are a lot of expressions, only one or two seconds you have captured. Thank you, Teacher Huang. I sat alone at noon and remember to help me with a cup of hot coffee. This time I introduced, many of our friends and relatives have become your loyal fans. I said that you are so low-key, the work is great!
