Campania and Naples wedding photography by Luca Salvemini of Italy

Luca Salvemini was born in Naples in 1981. Second-born of three brothers, he approached photography on the day of his First Communion, thanks to a compact Olympus given to him by an uncle. His passion becomes a life choice when he enrolls in the Faculty of Psychology, where his studies and background allow him to develop an innovative approach to work, a mix of passion, understanding, and emotion. Time and experience will be too strong, and Luca will form part of his method on the ability to establish true and empathetic relationships with couples. After intense training at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia and a very strong apprenticeship in a Photo Studio, he decides to leave Italy and approach a new work experience in Amsterdam. In a few months, he gives his first solo show at the Amsterdam Royal Gallery. After a couple of years in the Netherlands, he returns to Naples where he decides to found Life Photography together with Davide. He is a huge fan of U2 band. It is impossible to count on the fingers of two hands the number of concerts he has assisted to, in Italy and in Europe. Indeed, as soon as he has free time it is likely to find him shooting pictures around the world with his camera living the experiences of the places. [Naples Wedding Photographer]

Naples wedding photography by Serena Faraldo of Campania Italy

Class of 1985. Neapolitan by origin and upbringing, Partenope (the Siren from Greek mythology associated with my beautiful city) taught me many things; inside my soul, I feel the warmth and “serenity” of the sea which, if necessary, can become powerful, wavy and stormy. I am a Pisces ascending Lion; I have a passionate soul at heart but can keep an equally quiet and relaxed attitude on the surface, as my name “Serena” suggests. I've been proudly sporting my bangs since I was a kid (though sometimes a little crooked) and I won't let any hairdresser cut them. My fringe is not the only thing I carry with me from my childhood. I started drawing as soon as I was able to hold a pencil between my fingers and never stopped ever since and I still have the same love for art and images. This world made of colors and shapes of my childhood, never faded from inside of me; instead it has evolved, guiding me to explore many forms and expressions of Art. My creativity and passion for art became a precise path of studies all based on images, colors, shapes and Art, starting from Art high school up to a Fine Arts Degrees in graphics and photography. I consider love, and the chance to love, the greatest gift that life can give you; the most powerful fuel for any metaphorical engine. That's why perhaps I’d best describe myself as a “Love photographer” more than as a wedding photographer. I deeply love my job. To me, it’s not just a simple job, but a source of everyday happiness; a dream that comes true every time I’m able to hold my camera and become a storyteller. I love to tell love stories and I do that in the most caring, creative and passionate way. There are many other things that I love, besides my job; I love my dog Rori, who is my little old, grey best friend. To be honest I love all dogs and if I meet one, I have to cuddle him/her for at least 5 minutes! I love my grandmother, my mother and my sister, who are my story and my memory. I love my nephew, Simone. I love vintage stuff. I could spend hours in the flea markets in search of small treasures. I love dancing despite being a terribly uncoordinated person! I love everything that is a "game"; be it a role play, a table game, or a simple video game…I’m in! I love to meet people who have been able to keep their inner child alive, just like I did and I try to do every day of my life. I love travelling, UFO documentaries, swing dance, cold pizza at breakfast, warm pyjamas, watching the stars imagining life on the planets up there, Japanese mochi, and learning. When I’m not working on photography, I spend all my time on travel, music, movies, books and TV series; I strongly believe that all this will keep my mind open, helping me to be a better photographer. Everyone always says that your wedding day is all about you. But let’s face it; that’s not always actually the case. Many couples stress over guest lists, planning, expenses, and all the frills and traditions of your standard large wedding that they may or may not even be interested in. Fortunately, though, the concept of small weddings is becoming increasingly popular for couples who either want to be able to completely customize their day where and when they want with the option...Read more
Not everyone has a lagoon or glacier next door, but there's no rule saying you can't have a small wedding in the great outdoors. Take advantage of natural sunshine and that open, airy feeling and give your guests some room to breathe! LESS IS MORE Instead of hemming your guests in on all sides, give them some elbow room, and legroom, too. There's no need to induce claustrophobia when you've got a wide, open space. Let your guests take in the view, especially if you've got a spectacular one. You...Read more

Some couples, as they begin planning for their weddings, might think that they are limited to the classic locations: churches, gardens, beaches, or even Las Vegas. But in doing so they’re missing out on a multitude of unique options that might suit their personalities much better! Why limit yourself to a quiet, quaint ceremony when your adventurous heart may be calling out for something more? An entirely different genre of wedding, so to speak, is the adventure wedding elopement. This concept...Read more

While some people live for the hustle and bustle of a big wedding with extravagant décor and an impossibly long guest list, others find these kinds of weddings to be too much hoopla, preferring instead something simpler and quieter, allowing for more intimacy between them and their fiancés on this special day. So how do you infuse your wedding with all the romance but none of the fuss? ALONE AT LAST Many couples these days are opting to elope rather than planning a large wedding. For the no-...Read more

We all know that the economy can go through some hard times, and be somewhat reminiscent of past recessions. However, as people cut back on non-essential little luxuries here and there, one constant remains: weddings. People don’t tend to just stop getting married due to a poor economy, nor should they! So, in an industry that keeps on going through thick and thin, what are some things to expect for the future, and what is really necessary to still make that wedding day memorable and...Read more

Traditionally speaking, often times it is the couple’s families who help pay for their wedding. However, unfortunately that’s just not possible for everyone, especially these days when the cost of weddings can quickly and easily get out of control. Some couples find themselves in the position of paying for all of their own wedding expenses, which can be quite the financial burden to take on, and about 40% of Millennials end up in this boat. So, how can you stick to your allotted...Read more
