When Claire and John got engaged, they began planning a dream wedding that would take place during a weekend getaway to Mendocino in June 2020. They had no idea that a global pandemic was on the horizon. When the COVID-19 virus arrived and changed everything, they postponed their wedding until October and redesigned their plans. Instead, they opted for an intimate ceremony with only immediate family members in attendance. They chose the coastal town of Big Sur for their nuptials, as this place was well-suited to their adventurous personalities.
