Torcello Island, Palazzo Cavalli, Caffè Florian - Venice, Italy Elopement Photo Story Award

The newlyweds decided to have the reception lunch at Osteria Ponte Del Diavolo, a restaurant on the island of Torcello, where they arrived by taxi. This is the moment of the rice launch.

April and Alex arrived in Venice from London, together with their closest friends and families. As soon as I met them, I fell in love with these guys.  They are young, beautiful, in love, and very loved by families and friends.

They chose Palazzo Cavalli for their ceremony, then we did some portraits around Venice while all the guests took an aperitif at Caffè Florian. They did not find a sunny Venice, but this did not spoil their wedding day, on the contrary, Venice is beautiful with every climate and in every season.

After taking some portraits around Venice, we crossed the lagoon by taxi to the wonderful and less touristy Island of Torcello. The reception took place here and the location chosen by the spouses for the wedding dinner was the Osteria Al Ponte Del Diavolo.

Before lunch there was the moving speeches of the dads of the spouses and closest friends. So many emotions on this day! I have seen so much love, affection, friendship towards this young couple! I love them and their families.

While moving by taxi, the little girl begins to eat the umbrella she holds in her hand, in everyone's indifference..only the grandmother notices and smiles!

After the portraits, the newlyweds join their few guests at the Caffè Florian for an aperitif and a first toast, in the wonderful and famous San Marco square in Venice.

After the husband's emotional speech, the bride's mother and grandmother are moved by crying.
