Saint Quay Portrieux wedding image - Elopement ceremony was on a tiny island facing the beach

They got married on a tiny island, beneath a blue sky, surrounded by their closest family and friends, exchanging vows in an intimate ceremony

The ceremony takes place on a tiny island facing the beach.

Michele and Keith, from California, decided to get married in France, in the little town of Saint-Quay-Portrieux.

This very small wedding featured 25 people, only the very close relatives and a few of the bride and groom's very best friends, most of them flying from California and enjoying a few days of vacation.

The great sunny weather allowed them to organize their ceremony on the "Ile de la Comtesse", a tiny island that you can only reach from the beach walking at low tide.

Asking attention for the groom's speech.

As a photographer, this was my first elopement experience. I must say that I first felt a bit weird to have to work among so few people. Really impossible to get "invisible" so I had to work in a different way than I usually do. But after all, a great experience among those friendly people and I can say I had 25 more friends by the end of the day!
