Aj and Patty were one of the wedding couples who fell victim to the 2020 wedding debacle.
After re-planning their wedding reception for 2022, they decided they were ready to continue on with their lives and wanted to be married. Thus, they decided to gather a handful of friends and family to be witnesses for their courthouse wedding at the Ridgedale Courthouse in Minnetonka. It was a short and sweet wedding with masks still in effect.
While walking into the courtroom, Patty's mother mentioned how the courtroom looked just like the courtroom they finalized Patty's adoption in which added a level of sentiment.
While the ambiance was still a courthouse, once the vows started, emotions ran high and the ceremony still had the same impact as all other weddings do with laughs, tears, and cheers.
Weddings such as these show that if you are ready to get married and don't want to wait, go ahead and wear a fancy dress/shirt, invite those favorite people/witnesses and just do the darn thing becaue there can still be a ton of love, sweet words, and epic photos.
