Montclair, New Jersey Backyard Elopement Photo Story Award

Adam winks at the live stream camera for the guests at home at the start of their intimate New Jersey backyard wedding.

Stephanie and Adam opted to get married in the backyard of their new home in Montclair, New Jersey. Adam, a nurse in the NYC ICU, had been working on the frontlines and wanted to keep his friends and family safe by postponing his and Stephanie's original plans for a larger wedding. When they originally let me know they were going to postpone, they said they still wanted to get married on their original wedding date but weren't sure where they would do it. Fast forward a couple of months and they bought a house in Montclair, NJ with a great yard and decided to host a very intimate gathering with their families. They did the first look in front of their new house and pictures right around it. They had a wonderfully spirited Ketubah signing and a beautiful ceremony as the sun went down which involved a duet that Stephanie and Adam surprised their guests with. 

Just prior to the start of the Ketubah signing, Adam's mother's earring gets lost in her shirt as Adam's aunt tries to fish it out and his Grandmother reacts.

Stephanie and Adam, both very talented singers, sang a surprise duet for their guests.

Just a few family members watch on during Stephanie and Adam's intimate Montclair, NJ wedding ceremony as the sun sets.
