Alaina and Andrew wanted to bring their very closest friends and family out for a weekend in the mountains of Crested Butte in April. They rented a big Airbnb so that everyone could stay together, and got ready there on the morning of their wedding before doing a first look outside. Everyone gathered for champagne toasts at the Airbnb, then headed out into the snow. For their ceremony, Alaina and Andrew chose a meadow with views of Mount Crested Butte in the background. After the ceremony, we hiked around in the snow for photos, then returned to the Airbnb for the couple to share their first dance on the patio.
Colorado allows self-solemnization without requiring a special form of application or witnesses.
