I met the bride and groom in their home, contacted by the bride only 20 days before the wedding date, and for this reason, I immediately realized that it was a special wedding.
The spouses, two professionals very busy in their work, had made known to me the organization of the day and their requests; document and enhance the wedding, without poses, a pure wedding reportage.
A nice challenge for my work, where the particularity of the places and that of having carte blanche would have enhanced it.
The date of the ceremony was a few days before Christmas, at a Gothic-style of the chosen church, Chiesa di Santa Maria del Gradaro. But above all, the dinner was in one of the most starred restaurants in the world, Ristorante Dal Pescatore in Canneto sull'Oglio. This was a Christmas gift from the spouses to themselves and to close friends and relatives.

The make-up artist is about to complete the make-up session. I went up to the second floor of the apartment, looking for a larger image that also describes the work table and the floor plan. I took advantage of the glass balustrade to create an interesting diagonal on the scene.

At the end of the preparation, the bride goes to the second floor to retrieve the dress to wear. I await its passage under the dormer window, which lets the last light of the day filter through, a natural light mixed with the artificial light coming from the floor below.

It is now 6:30 in the afternoon and the natural light is gone, as the newlyweds exit the church. With a flash, I create a pleasant image by tilting the camera to document also the external decorations and the large crucifix on the wall of the back of the church. These are two important details for the bride and groom, and also for the composition.

During the transfer from the church to the restaurant, we stop in the main square of the city, Piazza Sordello, for some video footage. I take this opportunity to capture a moment when the spouses still had a spontaneous attitude.

The newlyweds and the few guests take their places at the tables. The menu had already been chosen previously. For the choice of wines, the sommelier approaches the newlyweds to indicate the best choice on how to approach the chosen menu.
