They had two rooms next to each other, but tradition has it that couples don't see each other before marriage. In this photo, David jokes with Magda in the next door and I captured this moment at Le Calette Hotel in Cefalù.

Sicily is one of the wedding venues that couples all over the world love to celebrate their wedding. Cefalù is a small town in the province of Palermo, very beautiful and evocative, and much loved by tourists who visit Sicily. Here in Cefalù, there are many hotels that overlook the sea and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Le Calette Hotel is right at sea level with a beautiful platform on the sea. It is precisely here that the future spouses have chosen to celebrate their destination wedding in Sicily.

In these photographs, I tell the wedding story of Magda and David. Their guests came to Italy from Poland for their civil wedding ceremony at the Hotel Le Calette in Cefalù. The place of marriage is the dream of many couples. Being a wedding photographer in the province of Palermo, I had many wonderful points of view to take beautiful photographs of this day. A wonderful ceremony on the sea at sunset, lunch on the nearby terrace, followed by the speeches of the witnesses, the dances, and the cutting of the cake. All in one location, from the preparations of the newlyweds, who can be seen in two rooms next to each other, to the party in one place. An imperial table welcomed the newlyweds and the guests for the wedding dinner. A dinner with a sea view on the suggestive Gulf of Cefalù in Palermo.

Everything was very elegant, the table service was precise and attentive as in a luxury restaurant. Live music involved everyone in the dances and the first dance of the newlyweds on the notes of a beautiful love song was exciting. The event ended with the traditional cutting of the wedding cake. Finally, we were caught in a sudden rainstorm! It was fun, everyone was happy, like a blessing at the end of a wonderful day!
