Hollie Mateer is a full-time wedding photographer based in East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. In 2017, she began her career as an assistant and second shooter for her now-husband, Patrick, and quickly developed her unique style of wedding photography. Rather than posing people, Hollie allows moments to unfold naturally, capturing authentic and one-of-a-kind images that truly reflect each couple and their special day.

Hollie draws inspiration from a variety of sources, such as other photographers, film, and other forms of art. Additionally, she finds inspiration in everyday life, her husband, and her family, always seeking unposed and real moments to capture.

Although her primary focus is wedding photography, Hollie also appreciates street photography, documentary photography, and photojournalism. She extends her authentic and unposed approach to photographing families as well.

Hollie is self-taught, learning through trial and error while experimenting with her creative eye. With guidance from Patrick on the technical aspects, she developed her unique style by combining composition and moment to produce striking and artistically crafted images.
