I’m not quite sure if I was drawn to this image via its somewhat humorous scene or by its strangely askew moment in time - an oddity compared to similar scenes. Maybe it was a little bit of both that created intrigue. However, I was certain of its excellence. The photo gains an uncanny edge via composition and the juxtaposition of a resolutely, defiantly staid and still background. For me the backdrop to this moment was the key becoming the final ingredient that formed a necessary contrast to the starch-like rigidity of the wind-blown veil.
