Exchanging rings during the wedding ceremony. It was a sweet moment for the couple because their kids were the ones who gave them their rings.

This couple met 10 years ago and the bride knew right from the beginning that she would marry this man. She purchased her dress 8 years ago and was waiting to be proposed to. Prior to their wedding, they had 2 kids, and the dress still fit her perfectly. The groom is from Russia and the bride is from Kazakhstan.  They have many family members, which is why they made the decision to have just a very small official wedding ceremony and have a big wedding party, a typical Russian wedding, later on, this year, with all family members and friends to celebrate.

To tell you a little bit more about the day was like – I must say I enjoyed photographing their day from bridal preparations until a few minutes after their ceremony. The bride was getting ready at a Hilton hotel where you could overlook Thames River and boats passing by. The atmosphere was perfect and bridal preparation was full of fun, as the bride was surrounded by her closest friends and they were her witnesses too at the same time. The bride had chosen a curly hairstyle to enhance her long hair.
