The bride has some tears after listening to some kind words from her best friend and how happy she was to travel to Antigua Guatemala to celebrate her dream wedding.

María José and Carlos dreamed of getting married in a unique location, different from what you usually get in venues around Costa Rica, their hometown.

On a vacation trip to Antigua Guatemala they became totally in love with the city and everything that it has to offer. The colored walls, the impressive national monuments, and its incredible ruins is why they decided to choose this historical city to be the host for their wedding.

The venue they chose, La Casa de la Ruina Santa Rosa, was ideal because it has a private ruin to celebrate the ceremony, and a "hacienda-like" house to accommodate all their 30 guests, all of them family members flying from Costa Rica.

The wedding was a dream come true as it incorporated Costa Rica and Guatemala's customs and rituals. The result was a very colorful wedding with lots of emotions and a thrilled bride and groom that enjoyed every second of their big day.
