From a birds-eye view, the newlyweds and their nearest and dearest are gathered at a single, festively adorned table enjoying an intimate reception. Strung overhead above the long table are pennant flags, creating a cozy atmosphere for the bride, groom, members of the groom's family, the bride's brother and one of her friends.
The day was perfect for a small, intimate wedding event with just family and friends. The bride, dressed in a beautiful white dress, was walked down the aisle by her brother, the only family member able to travel to London for the ceremony at the Islington Town Hall. The groom, handsomely dressed in a smart suit, waited anxiously, a wide smile on his face, as his bride-to-be joined him at the altar. The atmosphere was filled with love and joy as the couple exchanged their vows and the groom's father sang and played his guitar. The couple was beaming ear to ear as the celebrant announced that they were now married. The couple exited the council chamber to the sound of cheering and confetti being thrown. Outside, on a busy London street, a friend of the bride held an iPad, streaming the event for those unable to attend in person. The bride and groom then posed for some romantic portraits in front of the Islington Fire Station, as red busses blurred by. The couple then enjoyed a small reception back at the Airbnb with members of the groom's family, and one of the bride's friends. The bride's parents, who live abroad, gave a speech over an Ipad and the couple laughed.
