They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

  • Sunflare makes the moment even more dramatic. Tough to pull off, but done brilliantly.
  • Striking use of color and excellent framing. Lens flare is the primary focal point, both framing the moment and creating lines that lead directly to the kiss. But this image is multilayered. Adding the perfect note of interest is the young smiling girl at right.
