Photographer's Comment

This photo was taken in RI on a crisp overcast Spring day. The groom (pictured in the middle) was trying to stay warm by jumping up and down before walking down the aisle to meet his bride. I used my wide angle lens, set the aperture so it wasn't too wide (approx 5.6 or 8) so I could clearly capture the children watching, or otherwise occupied, and put my shutter speed up to 1/250 so that I could stop the action of the super hero groom "flying." As you might have guessed this wedding was a little different than your typical wedding. The bride and groom asked all the guests to dress as their inner super hero! All the kids in attendance at the wedding (pictured surrounding the groom) were in the procession.
