1st place in Group/Bridal Party
The WPJA contest judges presented Natalie Moser, a United States wedding photographer, with this Master Piece Award as recognition for top wedding photojournalism in the industry.
The leading documentary wedding photographers in the world enter their best photos to the Wedding Photojournalist Association's photography competitions. They want their wedding reportage photographs to be evaluated and selected by some of the most notable and respected working picture editors and photojournalists in the news industry (these are not wedding photographers or other WPJA members judging their work). Winning these competitions is a true accomplishment for a wedding photographer.

- This is a classic scene of beauty, a great moment of tradition as composition, lighting and a strong moment in time come together as an icon of the wedding bridal party. Beautiful soft light showcases a poignant scene. A beautiful composed shot of a moment before the ceremony begins; this photo is lit in such a way that it gives a sense of intimacy to these ladies-in-waiting. Pretty light, not your 'standard' situation, love the little girls, who are bored but trying to be good. The soft daylight and silhouettes of the group make this image so inviting. The lines of the curtains reflects the lines of the dresses.
