Hi! I'm Brittany Bender and I specialize in capturing candid, natural, emotion-packed photos. I am based in San Diego, CA and will travel absolutely anywhere! I love telling the messy, beautiful stories of life and each person’s own unique experience being human. Photos are a visual record of our lives and how we experience the world around us, and my goal is always to tell a story as truthfully and artfully as I possibly can. I am heavily influenced by narrative storytelling and watching movies! When I'm photographing a wedding, I like to watch moments unfold and then challenge myself to frame them in a way that communicates an emotion or idea while still keeping them heavily grounded in reality. I have been a photographer since 2018 and it's no exaggeration to say that photography has completely changed my life and the way that I view the world! When I'm not photographing weddings, I love getting to escape to the zoo and photograph animals. Outside of photography, you can find me paddleboarding or spending as much time as humanly possible with my dog. I love living in San Diego and I like to be out and about soaking up our beautiful weather and exploring all the fun things this city has to offer!
