Hi there! My name is Danette and I'm your friendly neighborhood adventure elopement and wedding photographer! I've been shooting weddings professionally since 2008 when I did an internship in Chicago with a photographer named Sarah Barlow. At the time, Sarah was an accomplished wedding photographer and she helped teach me how to be business-minded toward photography. That kickstarted my professional career. After running my business for about a year in New Mexico, I moved to Las Vegas and began working at a wedding chapel. The wedding chapel life for a photographer is a unique path, and though some might think of the words "kitschy" or "cheesy" when they think of a Vegas wedding chapel, it taught me how to be efficient while still getting a lot of variety and quality with my photography within a short amount of time. I've been running my business full-time since 2011. I've photographed over 2,000 weddings and elopements in 14 different states, with couples from around the globe. It's been a huge adventure and something I am completely in love with. When I am with you on your wedding day, I strive to create a unique experience where you're not focused on the details or any obligations of your day, but you're in the moment having an adventure and creating new memories. My goal is for you to look at your photos and remember the feelings and experiences you were having in the moment.
