In the midst of a global pandemic, as government restrictions and recommended guidelines from medical professionals were constantly changing, Marie-Christine and Didier decided that it was time to get married. Some people asked them why they wanted to become husband and wife during this tumultuous time, and they simply answered, "Because!"
This couple knew that their love for one another was the most important aspect of their wedding day, which is why they moved forward with an intimate wedding with less than 10 guests in attendance. The civil ceremony took place at the Saint-Laurent-Nouan Town Hall in Central France, and the couple celebrated with a small luncheon at home afterward.
In spite of the quick preparations and the scaled-back nature of the event, the bride and groom were still gifted professional photographs for their wedding. Their daughter felt that they still deserved to have the beautiful moments of the day captured by an experienced professional.
