Lumpy Ridge is in the background of this intimate ceremony site as Erin and Alex said their vows.
Their intimate elopement at the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, Colorado was equal parts emotional and nutty. The sweet vows the couple exchanged had everyone tearing up in the mountain shelter on that beautiful early September day. Afterward, their two friends in attendance put on huge dinosaur costumes that had us all busting with laughter the entire time – especially when they chased the newlyweds across the lawn. The dinosaurs were snarling and growling too, so the couple's faces of terror were appropriate, and we were all buckled over with laughter.

The couple heard readings from each of their parents read by their friend and officiant. Their words brought tears and giggles in equal proportions.

Even the officiant was wiping away tears from the heartfelt messages of love the couple shared in the mountains.

The couple was chased by their only two guests in giant inflatable dinosaur costumes after the ceremony. The four of them set out to have as much fun as possible.

The newlyweds share a dance in a nearby castle ruin. What you can't see are their friends singing a raunchy rap song to give them a beat to swing to.
