  • The horizontal and vertical lines created by the ceiling and door frames helps make this photo successful. Those linear shapes form the perspective needed to understand the precarious scene unfolding just outside the kitchen doors. I also enjoyed the high key lighting of the image, not lacking in a full tonal range that helps highlight the scene with its potential for ruin.
