Photographer's Comment

Moments before my bride stepped out onto the balcony I could see all of the single ladies craning their necks to look up in anticipation of the bouquet toss. In order to accentuate the height she was at I laid down on the floor [secretly hoping I did not get crushed]. The result was amazing; hands stretched out framing the bouquet with my bride's face tucked away at the bottom. Definitely one of those giddy moments for me...I literally squealed when I saw the image. Totally worth getting stepped on in the process...

  • The bouquet hangs in the air for all posterity as eager hands wait for the lingering tradition to land straight from the bride’s hand. And there she is watching as she does her part to further her story, culture and traditions for all that will follow.
