It isn't difficult to disappear when there's a flurry of activity, but small unguarded moments are just as important to me. I don't want people to be self-conscious or change any part of their behavior because there's a camera in the room. I try to maintain a quiet presence, and I think when people know me they feel so comfortable having me around that it's like being by themselves. Telling the whole story sometimes means vanishing in plain sight, even in an otherwise empty hallway.
- The simplicity of the image helps focus attention on the anxious bride. The anticipation of a life to begin is truly illuminated in this quiet moment.
